This upcoming weekend, the Oak Forest High School Drama Group will present its production of Mean Girls, the musical based on the popular 2004 film. The musical first appeared on Broadway in 2017 and inspired a musical film in 2024. It focuses on a home-schooled girl who transfers to a public high school.
The school’s production is a collaboration between several leaders, the drama director, Mr. Krystosek, the tech crew manager, Mr. Rojek, and the choral director, Mr. Pazik, who will be retiring at the end of this school year.
On Friday and Saturday, the show starts at 7 pm. The Sunday matinee is at 2 pm. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
