This is the moose I saw bathing in a cool glacial lake while I was at Glacier National Park. While it was really cool to see her, I didnt stick around long in case her mate came looking for her. We were told by a ranger nearby that bull moose are very protective and thereby dangerous because they like to charge when they are upset. And they weigh A.LOT!

The glaciers at Glacier National Park are slowly disappearing over time as the world warms up slightly. To be classified as a glacier, an ice field has to be at least 9 acres and many of Glacier National Parks glaciers have been decommissioned into ice fields since they are now less than 9 acres.
