Antonio Brown has had the most eventful year out of any player in the entire NFL. Just last Friday, he said he was retiring from the NFL, but today he said he’s not done yet and wants to come back.

The all-pro wide receiver said he still wants to be in the league, tweeting, “I’m still the best why stop now.”

The wide receiver’s future has been in doubt for the past week because after the Patriots cut him Friday, he tweeted, “Will not be playing in the @NFL.”

Now the real question is whether anyone in the NFL even wants him, considering his track record in only the last month. Brown forced his way out of Pittsburgh in last year’s off season and landed in Oakland, California, where he created nothing but drama over the summer.

He fought with general manager Mike Mayock. He argued with the league over his helmet, and the Raiders finally released him. New England signed him the next day, but things went badly there and quickly, as he played only one game with the Pats after a civil lawsuit alleged Brown assaulted a woman back in 2018. A second woman also accused Brown in an interview with Sports Illustrated, and, after he was caught texting her menacing messages, the Patriots cut ties.

That is when Brown went on a Twitter rant and said he would retire. Hopefully he can get it together because when he is on the field, he is an MVP candidate.
