As a new school year gets underway, Oak Forest has upgraded its security system, turning to a business known as Prudential Security to ensure everyone’s safety. The new system comes with many changes such as a new bell sound, more security patrolling the halls, and more security to help parents and staff. I talked to a few security guards about working at Oak Forest.  Captain Martin said, ”I enjoy working at Oak Forest; I love helping the students and making sure they’re safe. The students safety is our number one priority.”Another security guard, Ms. Beathea, stated, “Oak Forest is a really good school with a lot of respectful students and I love working here.”

Not only did Oak Forest get some amazing security. The school also added cameras, eliminating blind spots everywhere. Thank you to everyone who contributes to our everyday safety.
