Four Years of Self-Discovery

Four+Years+of+Self-Discovery

My time at Oak Forest was the best in my life. I have achieved more accomplishments than I ever thought I could; I would not trade these four years for anything. I was on the high honor roll or honors with distinction for four years. I started off in all regular classes and, by sophomore year, realized that I am smarter than I thought I was. So I changed some of my regular classes to honors. I did better than I thought I would.

In my time here, I have become a two-time Conference champion, a three-time Sectional champion, and an All-Conference performer. We placed 4th in the State and 3rd in the state; we were State runners-up and State champions. My grades never dropped while I pursued my goals with the cheerleading program at Oak Forest. As a team, we also took the IHSA Do What’s Right banner and—every year—the South Suburban Conference Academic Achievement and Sportsmanship Award. I am so grateful for all my achievements and experiences. I would not change a thing.
