Most Oak Forest High School students are not personally involved with the events of the field house. However, I interviewed Mr. Dunne, our Associate Principal at Oak Forest High School, to get some of my questions about the field house answered.

Mr. Dunne explained that the field house construction is ahead of schedule and therefore projected to be finished in early June of 2019. It took about one year of planning to get the field house started. According to Dunne there have been no major setbacks along the way. I asked if the current weight room will be used for something else after being moved into the field house. The plan is to create a dance studio for Poms in that space. It could also serve as a yoga room for P.E classes.

Many students and staff are looking forward to this new update. We are both very eager to see the field house, and as students, we would like to thank everyone who put time and effort into this project.
