The Oak Forest Bengals’ girls’ volleyball team has had a remarkable season, demonstrating significant growth and improvement on the court. Led by their coach, Mr. Balinao, and a talented group of athletes, the Bengals have showcased their skills and determination throughout the year and represented the school with pride.
I took the time to interview certain members of the team and gain insight into their opinions of the current season. Alison Pavoni, JV’s Libero, says, “I believe that we will do well in this season and I have faith in our strong team.” Varsity outside hitter Kynzie Oliver added, “We feel confident about the ability of our team.” According to varsity right side Brynna Hille, “Our team has chemistry and I feel like we can do well on the court.” As the season progresses, the intensity and the competition continue to rise. While volleyball is still in play, other winter sports like boys’ basketball and boys’ and girls’ wrestling are also gearing up for their respective seasons. The excitement and anticipation for these winter sports has been building.
